Deborah Deal-Blackwell

Deborah Deal-Blackwell is the president of the IX Power Foundation which has provided funding through its annual Colorado Women’s Day event for several WASH projects associated with Rotary in 2022. She is also the vice president of IX Power Clean Water, a Golden-based water treatment company that provides unique new solutions for removing the very worst contaminants from hazardous wastewater from mines, factories, chemical and manufacturing plants, and oil & gas extraction operations. Wastewater treated by IX Water can be rendered 99.98% free of dangerous pollutants, and then used on crops, for livestock, and industrial purposes. The company is working on several new processes including a small-scale solution for removing arsenic and other harmful pollutants to create safe drinking water in rural communities. Deb has lobbied on Capital Hill for environmental issues throughout her career.
